WESTPORT — A 30-year-old Westport woman was arrested twice last weekend on allegations she assaulted a man on two separate occasions.

Westport police said officers were dispatched to an address about 5:30 Saturday on a report of a male that had fallen in the garage.

“Upon arrival, officers learned the male had been dragged down the stairs into the garage by Ting Lu,” Lt. Jillian Cabana said.

Lu was then taken into custody and charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. She was released after posting a $2,500 bond.

“As a condition of her release, Lu was ordered to have no contact with the victim until she was advised otherwise by court,” Cabana said. “Additionally, she was not to return to that address under any circumstances until advised otherwise.”

Aboutt 2 a.m. Sunday, police said “the victim contacted police and reported Lu had returned to the address, assaulted him while he slept, and had since left.”

Officers applied for an arrest warrant for Lu, which was later granted.

On Monday, Lu arrived at court for her scheduled arraignment and was arrested by Westport officers on the outstanding warrant.

She was charged third-degree assault and violations of condition of release. She was held on $50,000 bond.
