MILFORD -- Three teens have been charged with attempting to break into Orchard Hills School.
One, Tyler Bamberg, 18, of Claudia Place, was carrying a BB gun and a smoking pipe with marijuana residue in it, police said. The three suspects were found on the roof of the elementary school early Saturday morning.
Bamberg and two 16 year-olds were charged with criminal attempt to commit second-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary and trespassing. The older man was also charged with possession of a weapon on school grounds and possession of drug paraphenalia.
The younger suspects were released to their parents and Bamberg is scheduled to appear Feb. 13 in Superior Court.
