In Westport, he opened a tailor shop across from the train station, which was known for his customized men's suits. Survivors include two brothers and a sister, Emilio Passarelli of Campobasso, Italy, Gaetano Passarelli of Westport and Gabriella Palange of Ielsi, Italy, and their families.

Survivors include three children, Mark Palmer of Westport, Jeanne Helfrich of Roswell, Ga., and Janice Gray of Deltona, Fla.; a brother, William McGarrie, and a sister, Carole Maddock, both of Westport; six grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at the Church of the Assumption, 98 Riverside Ave., at a date and time to be announced.

Born in Rockville Centre, N.Y., he grew up in Westport, graduated from the Juilliard School of Music in 1986 and joined the Lyric Opera of Chicago Orchestra in 1987 as assistant principal violist and eventually became principal violinist.

Born in 1930 in Columbus, Ohio, he attended Ohio State University, and then served the U.S. Army during the Korean War for the Hometown News Service based in Kansas City. In 1959, he joined the public relations firm of Carl Byoir & Associates, where he worked for the rest of his career, becoming executive vice president and head of the firm's international division

Born Gizelle Herskovits in Bixad Romania/Hungary, she and three sisters survived the Holocaust. Survivors include her children, Ron Hartenbaum and wife Alexandra; son-in-law, Jon Currie; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his fiancee, Pearl Fitzpatrick; two sons, Robert Carusone of Frederick, Md., and Brian Carusone of Westport; a daughter, Lindsay Carusone of Westport; two stepchildren, Amy Carlson of Seymour and Robbie Tracy of San Diego, Calif.; three grandchildren, Noah Fitzpatrick of Kewanee, Ill., and Liam and Althea Carlson of Seymour; a sister, Christine Carusone of Westport; a brother, Robert Carusone and his wife Donna of Fairfield, and cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were private.

Born in 1925 in New Orleans, he served as an ensign aboard the USS Izard, a Navy destroyer in the Pacific during World War II. In addition to his daughter, he is survived by another daughter, Denise Hamilton and her husband Jim; two sons, Ted Fontelieu III and his wife Michele, and Charles Fontelieu and his wife Kim; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Robin Downes and her partner, Raymond Kordsiemon of Charlotte Amalie; two brothers, John LeKashman and his wife Barbara of San Jose, Calif., and James Levine of New York City; nieces and nephews, Laura and Nathan Downes; John, David and Karen LeKashman; and Deborah Lonrau, and several great-nieces and -nephews.
