Weston 1st, Foran 3rd in Class S boys swimming championships

MIDDLETOWN -- Weston won a pair of relays and got a first and a second from Michael McDonald en route to the Class S boys swimming championship Thursday night at Wesleyan.

Weston finished with 567 points. Sacred Heart was second with 535 and Foran third with 331.

McDonald won the 200 freestyle (1:47.19) and was second in the 500 freestyle (4:56.35) while the Trojans captured the 200 freestyle relay (1:30.74) and the 400 freestyle relay (3:18.67).

Foran was led by Dylan Swanepoel, who won the 500 freestyle (4:48.83) and was third in the 200 IM (2:01.14). The Lions also got a second-place finish from Rich Enders in the 100 backstroke (55.47).
