With tremendous gratitude

The 2010 Staples Boys' Swimming and Diving Team would like to thank everyone who supported us in our, once again, exceedingly exceptional fundraiser this past weekend. Located at four wonderful venues, members of the high school team worked all Saturday selling Staples towels and hats and receiving hundreds of incredibly generous donations from members of the community. Thanks to all of your purchases and contributions, the event was a great success. We are proud to announce that we will now be able to provide all of the necessary equipment for the upcoming season and to each of our dedicated athletes.
Without the supporters of this event, our team truly could not even exist, and we would like to thank everyone involved in our fundraiser. Aside from the generous donors, we would especially like to extend our deepest gratitude to the four venues that offered us their outstanding locations and patrons this past weekend. Thank you to the Tziolis family, owners of the famed and delicious Sherwood Diner. Thank you John Depace, the manager of Balducci's Food Lover's Market. Thank you Niki Boulas, the owner of Elvira's down by Compo Beach. And, finally, thank you to Mark Gerson, general manager of Westport's Stop & Shop, who once again helped support our team this year.
Thank you to everyone who made this event possible, and as we now enter our competitive season, we could not be more grateful. Go Wreckers!
