Westport trio in `Sound of Music'

The hills are alive with the sound of music, the lyric goes.

And a Stamford production of "The Sound of Music" is alive with the talent of three young Westport actors.

In Curtain Call Inc.'s production of the musical, Tyler Jent plays the featured role of Rolf, the young lover who's "17 Going on 18" and enamored of Liesl von Trapp, played by Meaghan Elliott.

Christian Melhuish plays Liesl's younger brother Friedrich.

The show runs through May 5 at Stamford's Kweskin Theatre, formerly the Sterling Barn Theatre.

Shows are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are available by phone at 203-461-6358 and online at www.curtaincallinc.com.
