A pilot was injured when his small plane slammed into a building at an airport in southern Waller County, officials said.
The mishap occurred about 10:15 a.m. at the Sports Flyers airport off Sports Flyers Lane near Brookshire, according to the Waller County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said the pilot was flown by Life Flight medical helicopter to Memorial Hermann-The Texas Medical Center. Details of his injuries and condition were not released.
No other injuries were reported.
Deputies said it was unclear what caused the crash. It was not known, they added, if the plane was in the air when it crashed into the building or if had landed or was taking off at the time of the impact.
