A 50-year-old man was shot to death at a Vietnamese restaurant in northwest Harris County on Saturday officials said.

Ha Tran met another man at Pho 95 about 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the 11300 block of Veterans Memorial, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

The suspect, who has not been identified, appeared to be in his mid-30s to mid-40s. The men placed their order, and the second man went to the restroom. When he returned, he pulled out a handgun and shot Tran in the head, deputies said.

The man ran from the scene in an old model, black Ford Expedition.

Tran was pronounced dead at the scene.
