UPDATE: According to the state's attorney the case against Justin Botelle was dismissed.

Justin Botelle, 39, of Fairfield, and Rebecca Pastore, 35, of Riverside, were arrested about 9 p.m. June 23 on charges of disorderly conduct. Botelle was also charged with second-degree criminal mischief.

Botelle and Pastore were in a domestic dispute and Botelle allegedly threw a tire iron at Pastore, which hit a car that didn't belong to either of them

Both were released on a promise to appear June 24 in Norwalk Superior Court.
