AccuWeather meteorologist Tom Kines said that a cold front, accompanied by low pressure, will bring rain and showers to southwestern Connecticut this morning and tonight. "It will clear out by Tuesday, and you'll see the sun by Tuesday afternoon," he said, adding that daytime temperatures will remain in the 50s.

It should be sunny and cooler Wednesday, "although not unbearably cold by anyone's standards," he said.

He also said that despite the cold front, winds will remain slack tomorrow and Wednesday.

"Another cold front on Thursday might bring a shower," he said, adding that Friday and Saturday - the first day of December - are expected to be seasonably cool.
