The League of Women Voters of Westport will host its 28th annual tag sale on Friday, May 18, and Saturday, May 19, at the former Goodwill Building, 1572 Post Road E.

The sale will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days and will be bigger than past sales, the league said in a news release. There will be a wide array of items, ranging from antique to modern, as well as a plant sale.

Items include new and used collectibles, jewelry, small furniture, china, glassware, framed artwork, household items, workbench tools, lawn chairs and tables, sporting equipment and other items.

The plant sale will feature annuals and perennials donated from Westport gardens, as well as vases, planters, gardening books and tools.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit the league's community and educational programs, including publication of Know Your Town, civic education programs in the schools and voter services activities, including the voters' guide.

The League of Women Voters of Westport is a nonpartisan organization that neither supports nor opposes any political party or candidate.
