Women voters plan holiday fundraiser

The League of Women Voters of Westport has planned a holiday fundraiser for Dec. 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the home of Celeste and Norman LaCroix, 35 Arlen Road in Westport. The event will feature wine, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and music.

There is no charge, but the league said tax-deductible donations of any amount are welcome. Checks should be payable to LWV Education Fund.

Attendees are asked to bring nonperishable foods, which will be distributed to local food pantries.
