A Bridgeport woman has been charged with sending threatening text messages to a former Westport boyfriend.
The charges are based on an incident last Jan. 27, police said, when Rodriguez sent text messages to the former boyfriend threatening violence acts against him.
Bond on the threatening charged was set at $100,000, and she is scheduled to appear June 1 at state Superior Court in Norwalk.
Police said that in processing the arrest, they discovered that there was another warrant for Rodriguez's arrest issued by Norwalk police for failure to appear in court to answer an unrelated charge. Bond on that charge was set at $2,500.
