Woman charged with stealing, pawning father's possessions

Nicole Anastasia, 24, of Hales Court, was charged Monday on a warrant related to an incident reported July 28 by her father, who said that several items went missing from his home.
Anastasia and another female went to a pawn shop in Stratford and sold several items belonging to Anastasia's father without his knowledge or permission, police said. The total value of the items taken was $3,000, police said.
Anastasia was charged with third-degree larceny. She posted $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Aug. 16 in Norwalk Superior Court.
