A 31-year-old woman has been charged with stealing from her employer.
Karla Malerba of Derby turned herself in at police headquarters last Thursday after learning there was a warrant for her arrest on a charge of third-degree larceny.
The arrest stems from a larceny complaint from Malerba’s employer in January, who reported that she had stolen money from the business over a period of time, according to the report.
Bond was set at $5,000 and she is scheduled to appear Aug. 10 at Superior Court in Norwalk.
