A Fairfield woman is accused of embezzling more than $70,000 from her Westport employer over a period of nearly four years.

Tran Huynh-Storch, 36, of Flax Road in Fairfield, turned herself Tuesday after learning that a warrant had been issued for her arrest on a charge of first-degree larceny.

Her employer, who was not identified by police, filed a complaint with police in February, and according to the report, investigators subsequently determining that Huynh-Storch had embezzled more than $71,000 by double paying herself between July 2011 and last January.

Bond was set at $75,000, and Huynh-Storch is scheduled to appear Sept. 23 at state Superior Court in Norwalk.
