Lynn Cammarota, 52, of Bridgeport, was charged early Tuesday with driving under the influence.

She was seen driving west on Treadwell Avenue and crossed the double-yellow traffic line several times before she was stopped, police said.

After Cammarota stopped, an officer smelled alcohol on her breath, according to the report. She also had red, glassy eyes, police said, and failed field sobriety tests.

Cammarota was charged with operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol. She was released on a $250 bond and is scheduled to appear April 22 in Norwalk Superior Court.
