Woman charged with DUI after hitting stone wall

A 29-year-old woman was charged with driving under the influence after striking a stone wall off South Compo Road on Tuesday night.
Michelle Zowine of Bethel failed roadside sobriety tests after the 9:15 p.m. crash, police said. In addition to a DUI offense, she was charged with failure to drive in the established lane.
Bond was set at $500, and Zowine was scheduled to appear Nov. 26 in Norwalk Superior Court.
