A resident of Maple South Avenue was charged with driving under the influence following an accident last week on Main Street.
Lynn Dillon, 48, faces charges of operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol and evading responsibility.
The Oct. 8 accident injured a passenger in the vehicle Dillion hit, police said. She also fled the scene, but was stopped a short distance away on Post Road East, police said.
An officer detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on her breath, according to the report, and Dillon admitted that she had been drinking, police.
Dillon was unable to post $2,500 bond, police said, and was taken to Norwalk Superior Court for an Oct. 9 appearance.
