Woman accused stealing, using co-worker’s credit card

A woman accused of stealing a co-worker’s debit card was charged last week on a warrant.
Geralda Francilme, 21, of Fairrview Avenue in Bridgeport, was taken into custody Oct. 8 from Trumbull police, and charged with sixth-degree larceny, credit card theft and illegal use of the credit card.
The charges were filed against Francilme following an investigation by the Police Department’s Detective Bureau with the assistance of People’s United Bank Fraud Department and the Stop & Shop Loss Prevention Department.
Police said Francilme had stolen a co-worker’s debit card and illegally used it locally.
Bond was set at $250 bond and Francilme is scheduled to appear Oct. 19 at state Superior Court in Norwalk.
