With restoration of limited Metro-North Railroad service on Tuesday afternoon, both the traffic/parking regulations in effect since the start of the week and the shuttle bus service to Fairfield stations will be ending.

The first train out of Grand Central Station to make a full run on the New Haven line since the train collision in Bridgeport last Friday, scheduled to leave New York at 3:07 p.m. Tuesday, is scheduled to arrive in Westport at 4:13 p.m.

And the first train from New Haven to make a full run into Grand Central, leaving at 4:23 p.m., is set to arrive in Westport at 5:02 p.m.

Trains will also resume stops at Greens Farms, which has had no train service since last Friday.

With the restoration of rail service, police said the restrictions on parking and traffic in the Saugatuck station area since early Monday will be rescinded.

The shuttle bus loop, carrying passengers from Fairfield and Bridgeport to and from trains in Westport is scheduled to end at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Regular Westport Transit District service will resume along in-town routes, police said.
