William J. Carmichael, 69, of Lakeville, a former resident of Fairfield and Westport, died Aug. 28, 2010.
Born in Westbury, N.Y., on July 29, 1941, he was the son of Daniel and Anne Main Carmichael.
He was a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam and worked as a sales consultant.
Survivors include his sons, Christopher Carmichael of Stamford and Justin Carmichael of Westport; their mother, Elizabeth Tuescher Carmichael; and two brothers Terence and Daniel Carmichael.
