The Westport Library's spring book and vinyl-record sale is scheduled Saturday through Tuesday in the library's McManus Room.

Books on sale will include hardcover and paperback fiction, mysteries and mass market paperbacks, as well as travel, home and garden, cooking, history and many children's books in paperback and hardback.

Vinyl records include a single-donor collection of post-war jazz records and many other genres, the library said.

Full prices will be in effect Saturday and Sunday, but they will be cut in half on Monday. Any books or records left on Tuesday will be free, the library said.

Sale hours are: Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.; Monday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Tuesday, 9 a.m. to noon.

Most items are priced $3 or lower, the library said, and major credit cards will be accepted.

Proceeds benefit the library.

The library's summer book sale, which annually attracts hundreds to the library and Jesup Green, will take place July 18 to 21.
