Westport weather: Warming up to spring

Today will be partly cloudy in southwestern Connecticut, but it's the first day of a week where a warming trend will be clearly felt, according to the National Weather Service.
The daytime high today will be about 55 degrees, the NWS says, but over the coming days the high readings should top the 60-degree mark and above.
There's a chance of light rain tonight into early tomorrow, accompanied by patchy fog. The overnight low should be about 47 degrees.
Tomorrow, there is a chance of more light rain before 10 a.m. along with fog as the temperature rises to a high in the mid-60s. Rain remains possible overnight into early Tuesday. Nighttime will be cloudy with a low in the mid-50s and breezy, with a south wind between 15 and 20 mph.
There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday morning and early afternoon. Skies will be cloudy with a high temperature in the low-60s. The weather service also forecasts a north wind 16 to 18 mph, becoming south.
