Today should be sunny and warm across southwestern Connecticut, according to the National Weather Service.

The daytime high temperature, under clear skies, should rise to the mid-80s. There will be a west wind between 9 and 17 mph.

Tonight also will be clear, with a low temperature in the low-60s and a northwest wind between 6 and 11 mph.

Sunny conditions should prevail again tomorrow, with a high temperature in the upper-80s. Overnight, there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms as clouds move in and temperatures drips to the mid-60s, the NWS says.

On Friday, it will be partly sunny and hot, as temperatures rise to a high of about 90 degrees. Friday night should be partly cloudy with a low around 70 degrees.

The outlook for Saturday, according to the weather service, is mostly sunny and temperatures rising to about 90 degrees.
