As the region continues to grapple with after-effects from the Saturday nor'easter, early cloudiness today is expected to clear the way for a stretch of several relatively pleasant days.
After the sun chases away clouds later this morning, the daytime high temperature is expected to rise to the mid-50s, according to the National Weather Service. There will be a northeast wind between 8 and 10 mph.
Tonight will be clear, with a low around 36 degrees.
Tomorrow should also be sunny, with a high near 56 degrees, the NWS says. There will be a north wind around 6 mph becoming calm. Tomorrow night will be mostly clear with a low around 42 degrees.
The bright forecast continues Thursday, with sunny skies and a high temperature near 58 degrees.
And Friday should be partly sunny, the weather service predicts, with a high temperature near 54 degrees.
