Skies will be sunny today in southwestern Connecticut, but that won't help the temperature rise to spring-like levels.
The National Weather Service says the daytime temperature will rise only to the mid-40s, with a west wind 10 to 16 mph.
Tonight will be mostly clear, with the temperature falling to a low in the mid-20s and a west wind 9 to 13 mph.
Tomorrow also will be sunny, with a high temperature again only in the mid-40s and a west wind 13 to 21 mph. Nighttime will be mostly clear, with a low temperature in the mid-20s.
On Thursday, skies will be sunny and temperatures should rise to a more seasonable level into the mid-50s. Night skies will be mostly cloudy, with a low temperature in the mid-30s.
Friday brings a 40 percent chance of rain, according to the NWS, under cloudy skies and with a high temperature in the mid-40s. There is also a 40 percent chance of precipitation Friday night, as the temperature dips to the mid-30s.
The outlook for Saturday, the weather service predicts, is sunny and temperatures in the 50s.
