The forecast for southwestern Connecticut for today, the rest of the weekend and the outlook for much of next week is like a broken record: mostly sunny skies, temperatures rising to the mid-40s and no precipitation in sight.
Today, the National Weather Service says, the temperature will hit a high of about 45 degrees, with a northwest wind between 6 and 9 mph.
Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 28 degrees and a north wind around 6 mph.
Tomorrow will be mostly sunny, with a high near 41 degrees. Tomorrow night should be clear driving conditions after all those Super Bowl parties, with the temperature falling to a low in the upper-20s.
Monday should be mostly sunny, with a high near 46. Monday night is expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 33 degrees, the NWS says.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature again near 46 degrees. Tuesday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 29 degrees.
On Wednesday, the weather service predicts more mostly sunny conditions, with a high temperature in the low-40s.
