Skies should be mostly sunny across southwestern Connecticut today, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures should reach a high in the mid-40s, with a west wind between 6 and 14 mph.

Tonight should be mostly clear, with a low around 29 degrees. There will be a north wind between 7 and 9 mph.

Tomorrow also will be mostly sunny, the NWS says, with a high temperature near 42. Rain is expected to move in overnight mainly after 1 a.m. Skies will be cloudy, with a low temperature around 35 degrees. and there will be a breezy east wind between 11 and 20 mph.

Rain is also in the forecast for Thursday, with the greatest likelihood after 1 p.m. The daytime high is expected to reach the mid-40s, with a north wind between 10 and 18 mph. Showers are also possible Thursday night as the temperature falls to a low in the mid-30s.

Friday should be partly sunny, the weather service predicts, with a high near 40 degrees.
