Westport weather: Rebounding from chilly night

After frosty overnight temperatures, readings today will rise to the low-60s under sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service.
Besides rebounding from the nighttime temperatures that fell into the 30s, the will be a west wind 7 to 11 mph across southwestern Connecticut.
Tonight, however, clouds increase as the temperature falls to the low-40s, with a Increasing clouds, with a west wind around 6 mph.
Tomorrow, there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms as the temperature rises into the low-60s under cloudy skies, with a southwest wind 7 to 12 mph strengthening to 13 to 18 mph in the afternoon. Chance of daytime precipitation is 60 percent, the NWS says.
More showers are probable tomorrow night, with the temperature dipping to the mid-50s. Odds over overnight precipitation are about 60 percent.
On Thursday, there is a 20 percent chance of showers before noon. Otherwise, skies will be partly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-70s. Nighttime will be partly cloudy with a low temperature in the mid-50s.
Friday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high temperature in the mid-70s. Some clouds move in overnight and the low temperature will be recorded in the low-50s.
The outlook for Saturday, according to the weather service, is sunny and temperatures in the 70s.
