It will be partly sunny and warm today in southwestern Connecticut, but the National Weather Service says the outlook for the weekend and early next week is glum.

Today's daytime high temperature should be about 67 degrees and the wind will be very calm from the southeast between 5 and 8 mph.

There may be patchy fog overnight as the temperature falls to a low of around 48.

Tomorrow morning may also be foggy, followed by cloudy skies for most of the day. The high temperature should be about 59 degrees. Drizzle is expected after 9 p.m., with a low temperature of 49 degrees.

Showers are likely Sunday, with some fog possible after 11 a.m. Skies will be cloudy and the high temperature should again be about 59 degrees. There's also a chance of rain Sunday night.

And as the work week begins Monday, rain is in the outlook again, clouds will prevail, and the temperature will be in the mid-60s.
