The day in Westport and the rest of southwestern Connecticut will begin under cloudy and breezy skies, but the sun is expected to break through later.

There is, however, a coastal flooding advisory for the region from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., according too the National Weather Service.

Temperatures should rise to a high of about 50 degrees today, with a north wind between 15 and 17 mph.

Tonight, the NWS says, will be clear, with a low around 37.

Tomorrow, Veterans Day observances will take place under sunny skies, with temperatures cresting at about 50 degrees. Thursday night should be mostly clear, with a low around 34.

Friday is expected to be sunny again, and a little warmer with a high of about 55 degrees.

And the weekend begins on a bright note with a sunny forecast for Saturday and high temperatures rising to about 60 degrees.
