Westport weather: Hot, and getting hotter

The heat wave continues to roll on, with the National Weather Service advising that tomorrow and Friday will be even hotter.
Today will be mostly sunny in southwestern Connecticut, with a daytime high temperature in the mid- to upper-80s. There will be a northeast wind at 11 mph becoming south.
Tonight should be mostly clear, with a low around 69 degrees.
Tomorrow will be sunny and hotter, the NWS says, with a high temperature in the low-90s. There will be a southwest wind between 9 and 15 mph. Tomorrow night will also be clear with a low around 75.
On Friday, there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m., the NWS says. Otherwise, the day should be mostly sunny, with a high in the low-90s. Friday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 75.
Saturday should be mostly sunny, with a high near 89 degrees.
And Sunday also should be mostly sunny, the weather service predicts, with a high near 83 degrees.
