Westport weather: Ho-hum, 'stuck' with nice weather for days

The forecast for southwestern Connecticut will sound like a broken record well into next week -- but that should be music to the ears of those who love spring weather.

The National Weather Service says the outlook for today -- and basically all of the coming week -- calls for sunny skies and temperatures rising into the mid-60s. There will also be a west wind 5 to 9 mph today, the NWS says.

Tonight should be mostly clear, with a low temperature in the upper-30s and a north wind 5 to 8 mph.

Tomorrow will be sunny and the temperature reach into the mid-60s. Nighttime will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the low-40s.

Sunday should be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the upper-60s. Night skies will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the mid-40s.

The pleasant trend continues Monday, which should be partly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-60s. Monday night should be mostly cloudy, with a low temperature in the upper-40s.

Tuesday will be partly sunny, with a high temperature in the low-60s. Nighttime also will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the mid-40s.

The outlook for Wednesday, according to the weather service, is sunny and temperatures in the 60s.
