Most of today will be gray and damp in southwestern Connecticut, according to the National Weather Service.
Showers are expected, mainly before 3 p.m., as the daytime high temperature -- in the upper-50s this morning -- gradually falls throughout the day, registering in the mid-40s by early evening. There will be a north wind 11 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent, according to the NWS.
Tonight should be mostly clear, with a low temperature about 30 degrees and a north wind 9 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.
Wednesday is expected to be sunny, with a high temperature near 50 degrees. Nighttime will be mostly clear, with a low temperature in the low-30s.
Thursday also should be mostly sunny, with a high temperature near 50 degrees. Thursday night, however, is expected to turn mostly cloudy, with a low temperature in the mid-30s.
Friday will be partly sunny, with a high temperature near 50 degrees. Skies will be partly cloudy by nighttime, with a low temperature in the mid-30s.
The outlook for Saturday, according to the weather service, is mostly sunny and temperatures in the low-50s.
