Cloudy skies and scattered showers are in the southwestern Connecticut forecast for most of today.
The National Weather Service says the odds of daytime precipitation are 50 percent as the temperature rises to the upper-40s. There will be a southwest wind 5 to 8 mph.
Tonight, scattered showers -- perhaps mixed with light snow -- are expected as the temperature dips to a low of about 30 degrees. There will be a northwest wind 5 to 7 mph; chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
Tomorrow should be partly sunny, with a high temperature near 45 degrees, with a northwest wind 7 to 11 mph. Nighttime will be cloudy with a low temperature in the upper-20s.
Saturday will be sunny, with a high temperature in the low-40s, the NWS says. Clouds move in at night as the temperature registers a low in the mid-20s.
Sunday is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high temperature in the upper-30s. Nighttime will also be cloudy, with a low temperature in the mid-20s.
The outlook for Monday, according to the weather service, is partly sunny and temperatures in the 30s.
