Westport weather: Clear skies blow into town

Sunny, breezy skies today should chase away the damp, cloudy weather of the last few days, according to the National Weather Service.
The daytime high temperature in southwestern Connecticut should rise to the upper-40s, with a brisk northwest wind 15 to 22 mph.
Tonight will be mostly clear, with the temperature dipping to a low in the mid-20s. There will be a northwest wind 6 to 10 mph.
Clouds will increase tomorrow, with a high temperature in the mid-40s.
Rain is likely by tomorrow night, mainly after 9 p.m. Patchy fog is also possible in parts of the region, with a southeast wind 8 to 13 mph, increasing to 16 to 21 mph after midnight. The low temperature will be about 40 degrees. The odds of precipitation are about 90 percent, the NWS says.
On Friday, rain is likely before noon, with scattered showers possible throughout the afternoon. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a high temperature in the mid-40s and an east wind 17 to 25 mph, becoming southwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
On Friday night, there is a chance of showers before midnight, then a chance of rain and snow showers. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a low temperature in the mid-30s. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
Saturday will be mostly cloudy, with a high temperature in the mid-40s. Nighttime will be cloudy, with a low temperature in the mid-40s.
The outlook for Sunday, according to the weather service, is partly sunny and temperatures in the 30s.
