Today's forecast for southwestern Connecticut is considerably brighter than the unsettled pattern that brought isolated storms to the region over the last several days.

The National Weather Service says skies will be sunny today, with the daytime high temperature reaching into the upper-70s. There will be a northwest wind between 11 and 13 mph.

Tonight will be mostly clear, with the temperature dipping to a low of about 57 degrees. There will be from the northwest around 10 mph.

Tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday all will be pretty much the same, the NWS says: sunny, daytime highs in the upper-70s and calm winds. Overnight, the temperature will fall to the low-60s.
