The fine spring weather that has enveloped southwestern Connecticut over the last few days is expected to shine on right through the weekend and into early next week.
The National Weather Service says that today's daytime high temperature, under sunny skies, will rise to the mid-60s with an east wind 7 to 11 mph.
Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low temperature about 40 degrees and an east wind 6 to 9 mph.
Sunday also will be sunny, with a high temperature in the low-60s, while night skies turn partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the low-40s.
Monday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-60s. Nighttime will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the upper-40s.
Tuesday, however, brings a slight chance of showers with cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid-60s. Chance of daytime precipitation is 30 percent, the NWS says. Odds of light rain remain the same overnight, as the temperature dips to a low of about 50 degrees.
The outlook for Wednesday, according to the weather service, is cloudy, temperatures in the 60s and possible showers.
