The Westport Farmers Market annual Fork It Over fundraiser will offer four dinners on four different nights, featuring some of the area's most celebrated chefs.
The event is a "mystery" dinner since diners will not know the menu, or the location until they are given the details just before the event after they register. Among the chefs participating are Matt Storch of Chelsea and Match; Bill Taibe of LeFarm and the Whelk; Michel Nischan from the Dressing Room; Tim Lablant of Schoolhouse Restaurant and Jeff Taibe of Oak & Almond. The meals will feature food from local farmers and vendors.
The dinners will be take place Sept 22, with tickets going on sale Sept 9; Sept 29, ticket sales start Sept 16; Oct 6, with tickets on sale Sept 23; and Oct 20, with tickets going on sale Oct 7.
