WESTPORT — A Sandy Hook man’s checks allegedly bounced and he repeatedly failed to pay the $4,500 he owed.
Kyle Ritchie wrote two bad checks in September, police said, and both police and the person he owed made several attempts to collect the funds to no avail.
Ritchie, a 37-year-old resident of Cider Mill Road in Sandy Hook, turned himself in Jan. 30. He was charged with two counts of issuing a bad check.
