Westport man joins Special Olympics board

Brian Flinn of Westport has joined the board of directors of Special Olympics Connecticut.
The organization provides year-round sports training and competitions for athletes of all ages with intellectual disabilities.
Flinn is senior vice president of marketing and communications at WWE in Stamford. He has also held several positions at the National Basketball Association including senior vice president of marketing.
He started his career at Madison Square Garden in New York City, serving as manager of public relations for the New York Knicks. Flinn graduated magna cum laude from Ithaca College with a bachelor of science degree in television and radio.
