Lisa Tarala, 45, of Woods Grove Road, was charged early last Thursday with driving under the influence.

Tarala was seen driving north on Riverside Avenue at a "high rate of speed," police said. When stopped, an officer smelled alcohol on Tarala's breath, according to the report, and she failed field sobriety tests, police said.

A small green plastic case was found in Tarala's pocket, which police said contained a green leafy substance suspected to be marijuana.

Tarala was charged with operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol and traveling unreasonably fast. She was also issued an infraction for possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana.
