WESTPORT — A Weston woman was arrested last week after police said she aided her boyfriend with a theft. Carolina Rivera was charged with allegedly conspiring to and then shoplifting two high-end toothbrushes worth over $400.

Police said Rivera’s boyfriend got into her car after shoplifting two toothbrushes, worth $425, from the CVS Pharmacy at 397 Post Road East in October 2016. Using a license plate number and surveillance video, officers identified the man as Nabeel Abdallah and Rivera, 22, as his driver, according to police.

Abdallah was arrested Feb. 3, while Rivera was arrested late Feb. 6 after Westport Police responded to York Correctional Institution in Niantic. Rivera, a resident of 11 O Clock Road in Weston, was charged with larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny, both sixth-degree.
