WESTPORT — A Stamford man allegedly broke a restraining order barring him from contact with a woman by using social media to send a message to the woman’s sister.
Police said the 26-year-old resident of Bedford Street in Stamford sent the sister a Facebook message Jan. 10 asking her to contact the woman — who had a 2016 restraining order against him — on his behalf. Contacting the sister broke the restraining order, according to Westport Police, and the man, Tyler Healy, turned himself in to police March 30 for the warrant out for his arrest.
Police charged Healy with violation of a restraining order, a felony.
