WESTPORT — Two checks written by a Ridgefield man allegedly bounced, leading to his arrest in Westport last week.
Police said Michael Connors wrote two bad checks in October of 2015 to O&G Industries, a construction services and products company with headquarters in Torrington and facilities in Bridgeport and Stamford.
Westport Police picked up and charged the 36-year-old resident of Wilridge Road in Ridgefield from the Ridgefield Police Department on the afternoon of March 17. A warrant had been out for his arrest.
Police charged Connors with issuing a bad check. He was released on a promise to appear in court on March 29 in Norwalk.
