Westport Public Library will host a talk on the difference between ACT and SAT college entrance exams 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, in the library's McManus Room, 20 Jesup Road.

College consultant Susan Wexler and tutor Rafe Steinhauer will discuss which one students should take or if they should take both. The ACT is an achievement test measuring what a student has learned in school, while the SAT is more of an aptitude test testing reasoning and verbal abilities, according to a library news release.

The event is free and open to the public. For information, call 203-291-4800 or call www.westportlibrary.org.
