The Westport Public Library will conduct its winter book sale Saturday to Tuesday, March 9 to 12, in the Library's McManus Room on the lower level.

Books for sale will include hardcover and trade paperback fiction, including mysteries, science fiction and fantasy; mass-market fiction and nonfiction paperbacks; and children's books for $1 or less. Items will also include vinyl records and video and audio cassettes.

New for the sale will be an eclectic collection of vintage comic books selling for $1 on Saturday and Sunday only; playbills; postcards; and Life magazines and other large format periodicals from that era. It will also feature books in the nonfiction categories of travel, self help, gardening, home crafts and cooking.

Sale hours are: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 9; 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 10; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, March 11; and 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, March 12, when everything will be free, with cash donations appreciated. Visa and MasterCard will be accepted.

All proceeds from the sale will benefit the library.
