Westport Public Library will host a recorded TED talk by Google engineer Matt Cutts on trying a new habit for 30 days at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, in the library's McManus Room, 20 Jesup Road.
Cutts, who believes that 30 days is the right amount of time to add or subtract a new habit, will discuss the challenge of developing new habits and his own successes and failures with the experiment, according to a release.
A discussion will follow the program, which is free.
TED, which stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design, is a website that features provocative recorded 18-minute talks by experts and innovative speakers.
