"Shape Your Energy Today," is planned for Monday, Jan. 6 at 7 p.m. Denise DiGrigoli hosts the workshop on self-development journaling. The program is a systematic approach to creating change and positive growth for individuals.
"Chair Yoga," will be held on Monday, Jan. 13, at noon. Beth Holland, a certified instructor in chair yoga, teaches a gentle method of yoga and fitness that tones the body and reduces stress. In chair yoga, a chair replaces the traditional yoga mat and all movements are performed while sitting.
"A Taste of Mindfulness," is scheduled for: Tuesday, Jan. 14, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.This workshop offers support for people challenged with anxiety, depression, pain, illness or simply wishing to live a fuller life and is led by Joy LeVine Abrams who worked in hospice care for nine years and has taught yoga for almost 19 years. Participants should bring a towel or yoga mat, and wear loose-fitting clothing.
"Cultivate Resilience, Improve Your Health," is on the agenda for Monday, Jan. 27, from 7 to 9 p.m. Using an experiential interactive format, Dr. Paul Epstein, a naturopathic physician and mind-body stress expert, will address learning the skills of meditation and relaxation for healing and stress reduction.
